NATO countries have gathered to mark the 75th anniversary of their organization.
On July 9, when Prime Minister Modi was leaving Russia after meeting Putin, NATO countries gathered in Washington to celebrate their 75th anniversary. Despite not being a NATO member, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky also attended the summit.
On one hand, Putin gave Modi Russia’s highest civilian honor. On the other hand, US President Joe Biden awarded America’s highest civilian honor to Jens Stoltenberg, who has been NATO chief for 10 years.
81-year-old Joe Biden promised at the NATO summit that he would use all his strength to protect Ukraine from Russia.
America will give 5 new air defense systems to Ukraine
US President Joe Biden announced at the beginning of the NATO summit that he would provide Ukraine with 5 modern air defense systems in the war against Russia. He also said that amid the Russia-Ukraine war, the military organization NATO is going through the most important phase and is in the strongest position ever.
Biden said that the US, along with Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Romania, would donate Patriot missile systems and other equipment to Ukraine. On the other hand, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that NATO allies would soon provide F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

Biden said that Russia wants to destroy Ukraine, but Ukraine will not allow this to happen.
‘Ukraine has the right to attack military targets in self-defense’
Britain’s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer also arrived in Washington to attend the NATO summit. This is Starmer’s first foreign visit as Prime Minister. While talking to the press, he said that Ukraine can use the missiles given by him on Russian military targets.
Starmer said that we have given Ukraine a missile system for its self-defense. How to use it is up to Ukraine. Britain has given Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

Starmer met the media at the airport before the summit.
China said – NATO’s action threatens world security.
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg had accused China of helping Russia before the summit. Now China has also reacted to this. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that NATO’s so-called security puts the security of other countries at stake.
Spokesperson Jian alleged that NATO’s actions have created risks in the world. On Monday, Stoltenberg accused Iran, North Korea and China of promoting Russia’s war in Ukraine.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson alleged that NATO is trying to create tension in the Indo-Pacific.
India said yesterday – There is no solution in the battlefield.
India’s Prime Minister Modi told Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday that there is no path to peace from the battlefield. Peace is not possible amidst bombs, guns and bullets. Dialogue is necessary for a solution.
This statement came at a time when on the other hand NATO countries have gathered to support and cooperate with Ukraine in the war against Russia.
In response to this statement of the PM, Putin said, ‘We are grateful to you for the solution you are trying to find for the Ukraine crisis.’ During the talks, the PM also raised the issue of terrorism and said that terrorism remains a threat to every country.
Expressing displeasure over Modi’s visit to Russia, Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that it is disappointing that the leader of the world’s largest democratic country is embracing the world’s bloodiest leader.
