Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Russia’s highest civilian honour on Tuesday. President Putin himself gave Modi the ‘Order of St. Andrew the Apostle’ award. After receiving the honour, Modi dedicated it to Indians.

On the second day of his visit to Russia, he participated in summit talks with President Vladimir Putin. During this, Putin said, ‘We are grateful to you for the solution you are trying to find for the Ukraine crisis.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said- As a friend, I have always said that the path to peace does not emerge from the battlefields. Peace is not possible amidst bombs, guns and bullets.
