What is G7 Organization?
This organization, formed in 1975, is a group of the world’s richest countries. It includes America, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Canada. These countries discuss important issues of the world in a summit every year. The last G7 summit was held in Japan.
In this, China’s debt trap and its growing dominance in the Indo-Pacific were discussed. India has participated in this summit 11 times so far. For the first time in 2003, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was invited by France for this summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been continuously participating in the meetings of this summit since 2019.
By attending G7 meetings, there is an attempt to make India anti-China and anti-Russia.No, India’s foreign policy is quite clear. India’s policy has always been of multi-alignment, that is, India has never supported any one group.
India also cooperates with western countries. India has good economic relations with western countries. These countries are also democratic like India. Most of India’s skilled workers go to America for work and studies. Despite this, India does not come under pressure from America.
Apart from this, India also does not participate in the policy of America and Western countries of imposing sanctions on other countries.
America will sign a 10-year security agreement with Ukraine
According to the New York Times, this time the agenda of the G7 countries is the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas war. US President Joe Biden is going to sign a 10-year security agreement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This agreement will play an important role in the war against Russia.
On one hand, while Western countries are uniting against Russia in Italy, Russia’s nuclear submarine has reached Havana Harbor in America’s neighboring country Cuba for war exercises. This place is just 367 kilometers away from Miami, America.
This is not the first time that India has been invited as a guest by this organization. India first participated in this summit in 2003. For this, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to France.
