
Palestine supporters occupied the Brooklyn Museum in New York.
After a month-long student protest at US universities, Palestinian supporters have taken over a museum in New York. According to news agency Reuters, protesters took over parts of the Brooklyn Museum and hung a banner above the museum that read ‘Free Palestine’. Police arrested 114 people in protests at different places on Friday.
The protesters beat up the museum staff and started vandalizing the place. After this, the police was called. The police have arrested 34 people in this case. According to New York police officials, people were banned from entering the museum even before the protesters entered it.
Some of the protesters also tried to spray-paint the walls of the museum. These demonstrations were organized by an organization called ‘Within Our Lifetime’.

At first the protest was peaceful, with people demonstrating outside the museum against Israel.

Then the protesters wrote anti-Israel slogans on the structure there.

During this, many people got seriously injured, due to which the protesters got angry.
Protesters asked
the museum to leave and asked the museum to reveal information about Israeli investment. The protest started at the Barclays Center at 3pm local time on Friday and ended at the Brooklyn Museum at 4:30pm.
According to museum spokesperson Taylor Matman, first the entrance gates were blocked and then the protesters occupied the plaza in front of the museum. After this, they directly entered the museum. They had banners in their hands, with which they climbed to the top of the museum.
Matman said that the protesters damaged the paintings on the plaza and started beating up the museum staff present there. They were abusing them.

Protests again at the University of California
After the museum, protests began at the University of California and students began to evacuate a part of the university. In view of the protests, police had to be called in the university campus. Police arrested 80 people in the case.
