Israel has freed 4 hostages from Hamas’ captivity. Israel claimed on Saturday that its army carried out this operation amid firing in Gaza’s Nuseirat area. 50 Palestinians have died in the operation to free the Israelis. Israel’s Defense Forces have given this information.

Among the rescued hostages is a 25-year-old girl named Noa Agramani, who was forcibly taken away by Hamas fighters on a motorcycle. Noa’s video went viral after the attack on Israel on 7 October. Apart from Noa, 3 youths have been rescued from Hamas captivity.

Israeli Defense Minister Yaav Galant has confirmed this. He posted on social media that Israel is very happy to have freed 4 hostages from the Gaza Strip. Earlier, Israel had freed 2 hostages during an operation in February. However, 120 Israelis are still in Hamas’ custody.

Israel attacked from air, land and sea.
Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagar has said that the operation to free the hostages was very difficult and risky. Hamas had hidden these Israeli citizens in two different places in the Nuseirat area of Central Gaza. Defense forces attacked from land, air and sea to release them.

President Herzog spoke to the rescued hostages. While talking to Agramani, he said, “I hug you on behalf of the whole of Israel.” Netanyahu asked Agramani on the phone how she was feeling right now. In response to this, Agramani said, “I am very excited to be back.” She said that after returning home, she is speaking in her language ‘Hebrew’ after a long time.

Netanyahu said- We did not lose you even for a moment. I don’t know if you will believe it or not, but we were sure that we will bring you back safely again. I am feeling very good.

Noa Agramani’s 61-year-old mother Liora Agramani (Li Zonghong) is battling brain cancer. Earlier this year, she had appealed to world leaders to free her daughter from Hamas’ captivity. She had said that her only wish is that her daughter
should return safely before she dies.

Another hostage rescued is Andrei Kozlov, a Russian citizen. He came to Israel in 2022. He worked as a security guard at the Supernova Festival.

Andrei Kozlov came to Israel from Russia in search of a job. He was working as a security guard.

One of the rescued hostages is Almog Meir Zain. According to the BBC report, he also tried to escape from the festival when Hamas fighters attacked. He and his friend started running in a car, but were able to drive only a short distance and then they were forced to stop.

1200 Israeli civilians were killed in the attack on 7 October. During this, 234 Israeli and foreign citizens were also taken hostage. A week-long ceasefire was held in November 2023. 100 hostages were released in it. After this, all efforts for ceasefire are going on, although success could not be achieved. Hamas claims that about 28 thousand Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli military operations.
