On the last day of the G7 Summit on Friday, the whole world’s eyes were on the Italian city of Fasano. The world leaders gathered here discussed important issues ranging from the two wars raging in the world to AI and climate change. This summit was also special for India because Narendra Modi went on his first foreign tour after becoming the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.
Apart from the G7 outreach session, PM Modi met the leaders of many countries. These included Italy’s PM Georgia Meloni and Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau. During this time, many special moments of meetings and meetings between Modi and other world leaders came to the fore.

After the G7 outreach session, Italy’s PM Meloni took a selfie with Modi. Earlier in November last year, at the COP28 summit, the selfie of the two had also gone viral.

This was the first time PM Modi met Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau after the India-Canada dispute began over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Nijjar.

There was no bilateral meeting between Modi and US President Biden at the G7 Summit. However, the two leaders were seen talking to each other several times. Meanwhile, Biden also hugged Modi.

During the summit, Modi posed for photographs with UAE President Nahyan, Turkey President Erdogan and Brazil President Lula da Silva.

Modi also met Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church in Italy. He hugged the Pope. After this, during the conversation, the Pope was seen walking with the support of Modi.

Modi also had a warm meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah. Sharing the picture on his social media account, the Prime Minister said that there is a strong partnership between the two countries.

Modi also met German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The special thing is that the last day of the G7 summit, i.e. 14 June, was also his birthday.

After the outreach session, a bilateral meeting was held between Modi and Japanese PM Kishida. The two leaders discussed increasing partnership in the field of defense and technology.

During the outreach session, the PM also interacted with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
