China built bunkers after clashes with Indian soldiers in 2020.
On 5 May 2020, there was a clash between Chinese soldiers and Indian soldiers. At that time, this entire area was empty. There was neither any vehicle nor any post here. After this, the Chinese army gradually increased its activities in the area.
The picture taken by BlackSky is of May 30, 2024. An underground bunker is clearly visible in it. This bunker has 5 doors. The bunker has been designed in such a way that it does not suffer any damage from air strikes.
A BlackSky expert, on condition of anonymity, said that this base can hide many armored vehicles, there is also a testing range, space to store fuel and ammunition. The Chinese army has built a network of roads and trenches to reach this bunker.
There was no response from the government.
This base is 120 km south-east of the Galwan Valley, where a clash took place between Indian and Chinese soldiers in June 2020. During this, 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives.

A former Indian Army officer, on the condition of anonymity, said that in today’s time everything can be detected accurately using satellites or aerial surveillance platforms. Making tunnels is the only solution to create better security arrangements.
